Finland has one of the lowest crime rates in all of Europe and a low rate of unemployment, which means there’s a much lower chance that you’ll be mugged or robbed while living there than if you lived somewhere else like Stockholm or Berlin.

So, if you want to live somewhere that has a comparatively low cost of living, offers access to good healthcare, safety for you and your family as well as other public services, Finland might be the perfect fit for you!
So, you might ask: What’s the catch?
There isn’t one! Finland is simply facing a shortage of caregivers and nurses and needs more healthcare professionals to take care of its ageing population. In other words, you are the solution to Finland’s demand for more healthcare workers.

How about the age limit?
We take all applicants that meet the stated criteria into account!
For nurses that is: A bachelor’s degree in nursing (with or without license, with or without work experience) or if you are a certified nursing assistant. You are qualified to apply even without any previous hospital experience.

Sadly our recruitment program is only accepting applicants that have a former education as a nurse or caregiver or adjacent medical field. You are very right that the most important thing in caregiving is compassion and empathy. However, to ensure the safety of patients we can only recruit medical professionals.

Your certificates need to state the hours of study included in the certificates. Either on a separate transcript of records or on the diploma/certificate itself. Our current requirements are a minimum of 600 hours of study but we are taking working experience into more account. Our lower limit will be 300 hours of study but that will require 5 years of working experience in the field accompanied by certificates of employment for those years.
If you fulfill these requirements then all you need to do is sign up to our online orientation and follow the instructions.
