As of June 28, 2024, Silk Road has reached the milestone of achieving 3,000 recruitments of healthcare workers to start their journey in Finland. Silk Road recruitment program has welcomed recruits from over 70 different nationalities from all over the world. 

Ever since it started in 2012, Silk Road embarked on a journey that would change many lives and redefine the landscape of international recruitment. Established as a family-owned enterprise, Silk Road’s founding vision was twofold. Firstly, we wanted to address the growing demand for healthcare professionals in Finland. Secondly, we aimed to provide talented individuals with promising career opportunities

Silk Road has been responsible for recruiting employees, providing the language training of the countries of origin as well as initiating social orientation and familiarization with Finnish working life, processing residence permit and integrating international employees in Finland.

We meet with these employees at the airport, helps them find an apartment and introduce them to their new workplace. Through the recruitment program, employees who have arrived in Finland also receive support in matters other than work-related 24/7. This is how we ensure the best possible start to work and navigate life in Finland.
